Thank you for visiting our site - we are thrilled to have you here!

The Icing on The Cake Spain was set up by Ashleigh in 2008.

I am a mum of 2 little hooligans and when birthday time came around I quickly discovered that it is very difficult to get a good themed cake here in Spain and on the islands too. Birthdays are a really special event in our house so when I couldn't find what I wanted here I decided to do something about it and The Icing on The Cake Spain was formed.

My kids were sooo excited with first one, but it took me a while to cut through their faces to the cake beneath! lol - (I had used a baby pic of theirs!) They, however, loved biting in to each others heads and thought it was hilarious!

The next one was a Buzz Lightyear topper as my son is Toy Story crazy!

He was so pleased he screamed so loud he nearly pierced our ear drums! He told everyone in school about it and the mums began asking if I could do some for them.

So I did a few cakes with toppers for friends and they loved them, and that was the start of The Icing on The Cake Spain. We love our cake toppers and we know that you will too! They are a real hit at parties and even the littlest ones think they are great!

You can add the toppers to any cake (just avoid fresh cream, if using a icing topper, as it has a high water content and may make your picture run) -whatever recipe is your favourite, and if you need ideas you can can check out our blog for ideas or my blogger blog too.
